Created by the Doctor in Industrial Engineering Fernando Riviere de Caralt who bought the estate in 1945, the Pinya de Rosa Botanical Garden is a tropical garden located on an estate of about 50 hectares on the outskirts of the town, which represents one of the most important living cactus libraries in Europe.
The collection it presents comprises more than 7,000 species from around the world and the formation of the collections involved years of intense work. As a curiosity of this magnificent Garden, it is worth mentioning that the specimens that have formed this wonderful collection came from both their original habitat and from botanical gardens, nurseries and private collections around the world.
